Blog Entry: OK so I am not up on the latest.. but when it is brought to my attention.. I am excited! I am sitting at work.. and a women that works in the field for our company stopped in . She was talking to everyone..catching up.. and made her way to my desk.. She said hello.. and handed me a cd.. I was like.. what is this? She said that it was a band that she had gone to see.. and she thought they were really good.. and she wanted me to listen to them. She said that the singer is a sister of a friend of her sister in law..(follow that? l) but we all know how that goes.. We are always reaching out to everyone and their sister in law to go see a band that we believe in.. SO.. she gives a CD.. and says.. I will stop in and give you the other one when You are done with this one... ( DONE ? I am NEVER DONE with music..) Well.. I have to say that I was blown away.. The band is called Antigone Rising. .. ok OK STOP LAUGHING AT ME!!!! THEY ARE NEW TO ME! Though they have been around for a long time.. and put out their first cd in the late 90's (where have I been) They recorded their first albums with donations from fans.. (money well donated!) They became the first artists to be promoted by Starbucks Hear music series. I love their harmonies..a and lyrics. They have a little bit country.. a little bit folk.. and a little bit of Rock and Roll.. They have something for everyone..
